Hazrat Abu Hurairah Menghafal Hadith (Bab 8 Semangat dan Kesungguhan Terhadap Ilmu)

Pada suatu ketika, Hazrat Abu Hurairah telah mengadu kepada Baginda s.a.w tentang kelemahan ingatannya. Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda,"Bentangkan kainmu." Maka saya telah membentangkan kain itu. Kemudian Baginda mengisyaratkan sesuatu pada kain itu dengan tangannya lalu Baginda s.a.w bersabda, "Lekapkan kain itu." Lalu saya melekapkan kain itu pada dada saya. Selepas itu saya tidak lagi lupa satu perkara pun." [Bukhari]
